This recipe is designed specifically for weaning fish larvae from live feeds. We designed this food to be an intermediate step between live rotifers/ copepods and flake/pellets, to help ease the transition between live and dry food. This is a crucial step in larvae fish rearing.

This takes the chore out of getting the baby fish to learn to eat dry food after always eating live prey items. Fish larvae are used to eating live food for the first food of their life. In order to make it practical to raise them, we have to wean them of live food.
This liquid food is a practical and effective food for achieving this. This whole organism food will suspend in the water column longer and have the feel and taste and smell of the fresh live food that your larvae and fry are used to eating.
