This is an original large antique watercolour painting featuring a study of three BorderTerrier Dogs, fully signed bottom left by the well known English specialist dog artist George Vernon Stokes and dated to circa 1928, the painting is in very good original condition, in its original frame, overall size including frame approx. 20\" x 17\" This is the original watercolour painting that can be found in one of Stokes\'s illustrated dog books and was also issued as a limited edition print, both the print and the book illustration are a lot smaller than this original watercolour, a simply stunning and very rare painting of three Border Terrier dogs.
