An explanation of what these are and why I am selling them:

I am a school teacher with seven kids. I have been teaching for the last four years on the Navajo Reservation, but my wife says she has missed one too many family birthday parties. So we are moving back to Salt Lake City, Utah to be near her aging parents and the rest of her siblings (family of twelve kids!).

Back when I was a computer programmer with my own game company, I had lots of money and a best friend with a passion for comics. We spent several days a month traveling far and wide to find the comics I loved in my childhood. Sadly, my passion to complete series was not matched with free time to read them, so most of what I bought went straight into a bag with a board and was stuck in a comic box to live out its days in darkness.

It has been almost fourteen years since I last bought a comic, and they have occupied a sizeable shelf in a corner of my living room in some six different houses. My wife says they aren’t invited to the new home she is buying. And since we need money for a down payment on our home, this time I am forced to agree. I am not sure why I feel so attached to things I never even read, but I always planned to get around to it. My loss is my wife’s gain – and if it works out that it can help you find some “old friends” to invite into your living room, all the better.

If the comics in this listing were published in the 1990’s they were probably bought brand new from my local comics shop and would most likely be in NM/VF condition. If they are older than that then they came from the back issue bins in comics stores throughout the Western United States and they may or may not be “perfect.” To be straight forward, I bought them for the story, so I wasn’t picky about them all being “Near mint” when I bought them. Therefore, I make no claim to them being anything other than the issue that is listed, but the vast majority are in very good shape. I am including photos of every comic in a large enough size that you should be able to see any real defects. If it is missing a cover, I will note it. I am sure that you will be happy with your purchase, but if you are looking for commercially graded, vacuum-sealed, museum quality archive copies, maybe you should look for a different source.

Every issue is pictured. Every issue is listed in the numbered list above. Annuals, specials, variant covers, etc are also clearly marked. If the listing says “complete” then it is a complete sequential run. If it says it is a “run” then it has some issues missing. You may use the numbered list and/or pictures to verify what you are getting. Everything is sold as-is and all sales are final because the money is going straight into a house closing on June 7th.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING:

I am using USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes to ship these. I am charging actual postage. Because of the flat rate boxes, large series require multiple boxes, but because of the weight you can't ship them priority for less using different packaging. I can’t combine shipping and still ship priority. If You want to buy multiple sales and combine shipping, I am willing to repackage these in a bigger box and ship them media mail, but that still ends up costing around $20 for every 200 - 250 comics. These things are heavy.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

I am willing to ship to anywhere USPS international priority mail will go, but It will cost you the additional postage plus a $10 handling fee for dealing with all the mess of shipping internationally. If you prefer a different carrier, I can probably oblige, but I am located in the middle of nowhere and it may take additional time to ship using something besides the US Postal Service. Either way the cost is the actual shipping plus $10 handling for international.

CHECK OUT MY OTHER sales:

I am listing hundreds of series on over the next week, so be sure to check out all my other sales. I am starting all of my sales with a starting offer that is only $0.10/comic and . Most will have a "Buy It Now" price for those who are anxious, but that will go away once the offerding starts and I don’t cancel offers. If I find the time, I also have around two or three hundred hard to find mini-series to sell, as well, but I am not sure I will get around to listing them before I move.

Happy offerding!
