Used wiring harness off a working 1988 John Deere 7200 MaxEmerge 2, wing-fold drawn, 12 row narrow (30") planter. I bought the planter in 2008. The harness has worked great for me. I just updated to a complete new system which required me to purchase a new wiring harness. The wiring harness was used with a John Deere Computer Trac 200 power supply/monitor.
The wiring harness had several taped area's when I purchased the planter (see photos). I've had no issues with the harness working. After removal I verified that every wire has continuity (ground, power, and sensor wires).
Our local John Deere dealer says the part number is AA36666 (subs to AA38644). A new one sells for $1325.
Please be sure this wiring harness will work on your planter prior to offerding.
