SHIPPING

If you are located outside of North America inquire with us via email prior to purchase for international shipping costs and compliance from us. International Shipping is paid by buyer and DOES NOT include customs fees or taxes which need to be paid by you, the buyer, when item arrives in your country.

APO addresses will be subject to shipping charges depending on their location.

Buyer is to pay shipping and handling of amount stated in the listing. Wanting every item that we send out to arrive safely, we insure every item that leaves our warehouse at our own expense.

We ship most orders via UPS Ground. Items that are shipped directly from the manufacturer will be shipped using the manufacturer\'s preferred method (either UPS or FedEx). Packages that weigh less than 1 pound may ship via USPS Priority Mail. On orders that include free shipping, we reserve the right to choose the carrier of our choice to accommodate the most efficient method of getting the product to you.

Please keep in mind that UPS and FedEx do not ship to PO Boxes. If you put a PO Box as your shipping address the merchandise will be shipped via USPS. (Additionally, providing a PO Box as your shipping address will not cause us to ship via USPS for you. If you have experience with UPS delivering to your PO Box, please call us and we\'ll make the exception; however, if the package gets denied and rerouted, you will be charged all applicable shipping costs.)

After your payment you might receive a UPS tracking number, but that does not necessarily mean the item has left our warehouse yet. Please be aware it generally takes up to 7 to 10 business days for your order to arrive. The UPS tracking number will become active at some time during the 7 to 10 day period.

On orders that include free shipping, we reserve the right to choose the carrier of our choice to accommodate the most efficient method of getting the product to you.

If you want to order MULTIPLE NEW items separately that total over $49, to receive a shipping discount, please contact us prior to payment after choosing the \"Buy-it-now\" option on those items and we will combine the order and ship all the items in the same box, if possible.

Free shipping does NOT apply to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. Customers must pay shipping for these locations.

Free shipping does NOT apply to any item that requires freight ground delivery. All orders that require freight ground delivery are exclusive to the contiguous United States. If outside the contiguous United States, we will immediately contact you by phone to give you the freight charges.

Free shipping does NOT apply to NEW OR USED \"sale\" ITEMS that start at .99 cents unless otherwise specified.

We try to ship every item the same day in which your order is placed and payment is verified, however it usually takes 24-72 hours during heavy sales periods to process an order.

Any customer that refuses their package will be charged the original shipping cost, plus the cost of shipping to have the item returned back to us.

* We do not ship USED sale items out of the mainland United States. If you want to purchase a USED sale item from our store and live internationally or in Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico we permit shipping your item to a United States mainland address after which international/overseas shipping will have to be arranged by you. Please make sure to inquire with us via email prior to purchase of USED sale items. Exceptions for shipping can be made with higher dollar USED items. Thank you for understanding.*

* All long-arm machines will be opened and inspected by our professional technicians prior to shipment. Upon payment receipt our technicians will triple check these machines to make sure they are working properly, are oiled properly, and will be sewn off to prove their quality and efficiency. Should you receive your long arm machine and see the boxes re-taped, this is why.*

Please see the map below for average shipping times, but allow up to 6-10 business days for your order to arrive. Orders being shipped to an address in the state of California are subject to 8.75% sales tax.

Canadian customers:

Please allow up to 14 business days to receive your order due to customs processing and additional shipping time from the US and through Canada. Be aware that you must bear all additional customs and brokerage fees. We are not responsible for additional importation fees, and these fees are not included in the total price of your order.

International customers:

All machines sold in our store are for American and Canadian use exclusively. They are mainly 110 or 120 Volt Machines. International buyers will need to purchase power converters to use their machines. (Do NOT adapt/splice the cable included with a cheap adapter. Purchase a powerful power converter/transformer.)

Please allow at least 14 business days to receive your order due to customs and International processing. Depending on your location, shipping can possibly take 2-4 weeks.

Be aware that you (the customer) are responsible for all additional customs and brokerage fees.

We are not responsible for additional importation fees or taxes and these fees are NOT included in the total price of your order.

Also be aware that you need a Country Specific power converter for \"ALL\" machines and electronic devices that require to be plugged into an electrical outlet outside of the United States.

International Purchasers that Need Power Converters for Machine Voltage Conversions:

Manufacturer and Sewing Machines Plus More warranty is not supported

If you purchase a machine and need a voltage converter, should something fail electronically, we cannot support the warranty or a return.

Machine manufacturers will not support the warranty either.

Please inquire with us via email prior to purchase to receive information and guidelines specifically tailored to your location and item interest.

We suggest when purchasing or using a voltage converter to use a high quality one. Cheap power adapters cannot handle the load of a sewing machine. It\'s best to purchase good quality reliable powerful voltage converters. Adapters are not reliable enough.

At Sewing Machines Plus More, we want to make your shopping experience with us as easy and comfortable as possible. Customer satisfaction is our top goal. On rare occasions and despite our best efforts, an item might turn out to be defective. In the very unlikely event you receive a defective product, we ask you to remember that we do not manufacture these products; we simply market them for the manufacturers and factories. That said, please notify us of any problem or defect so that we can arrange for a replacement.

Policy on Store Inventory Items:

The first step is to email us to request a Return Authorization. In order to speed up the process, please include what is wrong with the unit, your name, full address, model number, receipt number and how you paid for the item. We will gladly ship you a replacement unit or give you a refund. Due to the size and activity of our warehouse, we cannot accept nor be responsible for items and shipping charges if the item is shipped to us without a prior consent and a Return Authorization number. We will provide you with further instructions. Once the item has been shipped back to us, giving us your tracking number will make the total process much quicker for you.

Please make sure all original paperwork, box, warranties and accessories are intact and with the unit when it is shipped back. Exchanges will be honored if the original item was defective, and the exchange will be for a like item. Should you desire a refund, all shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. If the item was bought with a free shipping promotion, then the actual original shipping costs that were borne by us will be deducted from the refund.

Please make sure to write your RA number clearly on the shipping label. Refunds are issued an average of 7 business days after the checking in of your returned product. After we issue the refund, it is up to your bank to post the credit on your account in a timely manner; PayPal credits take 24 hours or less in most cases. If you have any questions or concerns please email or call us.

In the rare case that a buyer requests a return/refund because they do not like the product but there is nothing defective with it, buyer will pay return shipping and cover the cost of the initial shipping as well, if that initial shipping was free.

Policy on sale Items:

WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON USED SEWING MACHINES SOLD AT sale. All machines are sold \"AS-IS\" and come only with those items in the pictures and/or as described in the description. However, we make every effort to guarantee the satisfaction of the winning buyer. Every used machine is fully serviced by our certified in-house mechanics before being put on sale and shipped out to ensure that it will be in proper working order. We also offer unlimited phone support to answer questions or to walk you through using your machine.

In the very unlikely event you receive a machine that does not work properly, please contact us. We will be more than willing to help you troubleshoot the issues you are having. If necessary, we will also cover the cost of shipping to bring it back to our shop for inspection and repair. Once it has been repaired and tested, we will ship the machine back to you at our expense. If upon initial inspection we do not find anything wrong with the machine, however, the machine will be shipped back to you at your cost.
