Up for sale with is a really fabulous Massive size Victorian Silver Plate Serving Platter Tray. The Tray is one of the largest examples I have sold in a very long time, measuring approx 29" long across the handles by 17-1/4" wide or the serving area alone measures 20" by 14". The Platter is large enough for pretty much any Tea and Coffee Service or a large array of desserts and Hors D'oeuvres. The Platter is beautifully etched with nice Period Designs, covering pretty much the entire face of the tray and best of all it has never been monogrammed. The Platter also features one of the most elaborate and detailed borders, be sure to see all the photos. The Platter is in amazing condition, with no signs of wear, just some very minor surface scuffs The Platter is unmarked which is quite typical for Victorian Period English Silver Plate. Platters of this size, quality and in this condition are very hard to find, we are lucky to be listing some of the finest Platter Trays we have sold in years, from a fine collection we have been selling from for the past few weeks, be sure to check all our other sales ! Returns:

We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating we stateis significantly incorrect. In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand.
