Dogs are family. Period. Bubba Rose™ believes that every dog treat should be made with real, wholesome, clean ingredients. That\'s why they use only local, organic, fresh ingredients from the USA and never any preservatives. Every treat that they bake is wheat free, corn free & soy free (the most common allergens and fillers in commercial products); always baked in small batches in their bakery in New Jersey. All of the meats are locally sourced, free-range, grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic free. Only cage-free eggs from local farmers are used as well. Bubba Rose™ love animals (that includes farm animals) and want only the best quality and most humane meat & eggs to be used in their treats. Everything that they make is free of chemicals, salt, artificial flavors, colors or fillers. Just healthy, simple ingredients go into making their treats. By the way, the dogs absolutely love them!
FLOURS:Only organic oat and brown rice flours in their treats. Besides being wheat-free, brown rice flour is gluten-free and depending upon your opinion, oat flour is also up for discussion as being gluten-free. So, organic, no wheat and gluten-free, all wonderful for dogs with allergies, which is more common than not these days.
MEATS & EGGS:Only single source proteins in their treats, which include: grass-fed, free-range beef, free-range chicken, turkey & duck, free-range pork, wild-caught salmon and tuna, and cage-free eggs. All of their meats are locally sourced, free-range, grass-fed, hormone and antibiotic free. They only use local cage-free eggs as well.
FRUITS & VEGGIES:Bubba Rose™ uses a variety of fruits and vegetables in their treats, all of which contain beneficial nutrient goodness. The cakes are made with organic carrots, a rich source of Vitamin A and beta-carotine (an antioxidant). Pumpkin in used in the biscuits, cake pops and cake bites, a fabulous source of fiber and great digestive aid. Coconut is used on top of the decorated treats (instead of artificial sprinkles), a wonderful fruit with antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties, excellent for so many symptoms.
PEANUT BUTTER:All natural peanut butter, made locally. That means just 100% ground peanuts, that\'s it! A rich source of protein, it\'s just so tasty to humans and dogs alike.

Is the peanut butter safe?
Absolutely. The peanut butter comes from a small farm in North Carolina where the peanuts are grown and grounded into peanut butter right there. It is not in any way involved in the peanut butter recall that is going on right now.
Is there a shelf life for the dog treats and how do they need to be stored?
Just like any freshly baked product, these gourmet dog treats have a shelf life. Bubba Rose® recommends storing them in their original packaging or a loosely covered container at room temperature for about 6 months. The treats can be kept in the refrigerator or freezer as well. The pupcakes and cakes have a much shorter shelf life. They should be eaten within a few days of receipt, or refrigerated or frozen. They thaw very well and quickly.
Are there preservatives in the gourmet treats?
There are no added preservatives in any of our treats. Bubba Rose® bakes all of their products with the highest quality, wholesome, human-grade ingredients that are healthy for your dog. They never use salt, sugar, or artificial flavors or coloring.
What\'s in Bubba Rose® treats?
Since all of their treats are wheat, corn and soy free the base flours for their products are organic oat flour and organic brown rice flour. The ingredients and analysis information is posted for each product.
