HUGE INDIAN SWORD FIRANGI 17TH/18TH C. SHAMSHIR MUGHAL For Sale - New and Used

This is a huge Indian fighting sword Firangi with a double fullered European blade, most likely 17th Century. It is 48 inches overall and the double fullered blade is wide being 2 inches at the ricasso. The fullers have traces of repeated punched characters and letters about 6 inches out from the hilt. The blade has good temper and is flexible. The pommel spike is faceted to round with decorative pierced holes. The entire sword has been painted silver. A little elbow grease on the buyers behalf on this sword will be greatly rewarded. The metal is smooth with light salt and pepper pitting in places. UNforftunatley due to  its size no international shipping until I get a good quote, which I have not yet succeeded in doing.
