Griswold! No. 8 Waffle Iron, High Base, Acorn Hinge!Both pieces: No cracks, repairs. Paddles or irons: No. 8. PN. 976 & PN. 977. Matched set. Rare acorn hinge. Wood handles.
These two irons fit together nicely, they mesh together tight & no wobble.
These have been cleaned and are heavily seasoned, ready for use right out of the box.
These two irons set in the base socket, lift and rotate as designed, they lay flat when at rest.
The approx. diameter of the irons are about 7 1/2\".High Base: Unmarked. This one has the side lift handles.
Structurally very sound, no heavy corrosion, just some surface painted finish wear area\'s, Can easily be touched up to look like new if so desired. The two irons fit in the base and work as designed.
The rim on the bottom of the base where it sits measured approx. 9 1/2\" ID. out to 11\" OD.This is a very nice older waffle iron, ready for use or display.Shipping is to CA. If substantially closer I will adjust the costs.Look at my other Griswold listings!
