Ford LGT-165. This tractor was garage stored and tarp covered for the last 20 years. The owner ( a family member ) bought NEW in the early 80\'s. He is elderly and currently in an Veterans Home. I have restored the tractor to ALMOST LIKE NEW Condition. It has some bumps and bruises. ALL ORIGINALwith the exception of the following listed items:

Re-wired almost entirely to include the following ALLNEW ITEMS -points and condenser, sparkplug wire, both battery cables, belts. New voltage meter, NEW neutral safety switch, NEW In dash PTO switch, NEW headlight bulb sockets. FOUR NEW Tires. New battery. ALL FLUIDS to include transmission are NEW. ALL filters and gas lines are NEW.

The snow blower is FULLY operational. When repainted there was some rust that had to be removed and plateswelded. The York rake is LIKE new with some very minorsurface rust. I had not yet cleaned it in the photos but it is clean now. The wagon has a tilt release andhas NEW tires. It has surface rust and could use a paint job. The Jacobsen tiller is intact and as far as I know it is complete. I HAVE NO IDEA if it works. This tractor has a front and mid PTO ( if I know what I am talking about for a mower deck )but not a rear PTO. I could not test the tiller.

This tractor is a beast. There is absolutely ZERO smoke as this engine is in AWESOME condition. The hydrostatic transmission is smooth as silk. Both Hi / Low / Reverse and Neutral function as designed.

So what\'s wrong with it ?. There is a very small tear on the ORIGINAL SEAT. When we put it back together we forgot to adjust the parking brake. The ORIGINAL Chrome Hubcaps are cloudy - they have been buffed the best they will get. When the engine is cold takes a moment to start. Once warmed-up it fires right back up. The rubber foot pedal on the brake is missing. I removed the old insulation from inside the side covers as it was pretty nasty. There was rust on the floor/foot boards. I have covered and sealed with a heavy duty liquid rubber compound - very sturdy but not original. The front lights work - the rear are in place but not wired, There are no wheel weights or chains.

IfI am reading the BORG hour meter correctlythis tractor has 470 + or - hours on it. I am confidant that these are accurate hours since this tractor has not moved since the mid 1990\'s.

The tractor is listed at 850 pounds. The snow blower, trailer, tiller and York rake put this package at approx.1400-1500 pounds. You WILL NEED at a minimum a large trailer to pickup this package. Preferably a large trailer and a pickup truck. The snow blower is currently attached to the tractor because it is easier to move.
