Heavy duty mostly Brass or bronze parts from a K&E industrial survey instrument. This is a K&ELeveling Base w/Yoke for mounting on a 3.5"x 8 thread type surveytripod/stand. Great for you special projects in your optical or laser lab,etc.. Features a very nice 4-screw leveling base with a bullseye level, and a lockable swivel, and a vernier control for the azimuth axis. Also, a generous aperture is provided in the base for plumb sightings. The saddles originally accommodated a .884" diameter axle.

Our detail photos show the yoke removed for the base so you can see theconstruction (it has since been re-assembled for secure shipment). HEAVY! Very heavy duty parts that (beforeour expert packing) weigh-in at approximately 21 pounds. These parts can save you a lot of work if your special project needs to be mounted and leveled on a tooling or laser stand with 3.5"x8 threads (such as a K&E 71-5025 or 71-5030, or a Brunson 230 or 231).

CONDITION:Used. Very good except there's a dust seal that has dried out from age - located where the yokeswivels. All adjustments function very nicely. Paint color may vary.
