ESSEX TOY SEWING MACHINE TSM 1950s BRITISH ENGLISH :

This red TSM is an Essex made by the Essex Engineering Works, Wanstead, England which produced TSMs in the 1940\'s and 50\'s. This machine islikely from the 1950s. Cast iron construction mounted on a wooden base. It is missing a white turning knob from the wheel. It is essentially a copy of the \"Singer Model 20\" as Singer did not patent its original Model 20 machine. I would say, aside from some small scrapes the machine is in pretty good condition. Much of the chrome is still nice and shiny. Take a look at that stitch plate! Wheel turns easily, sewing action is great! Needle included. These were quite common in England, not so much in the US. The profits of this project buy presents for grandkids and help out an older American living on a fixed income. But I also believe all problems can be solved if people are willing to be reasonable and rational. When you leave bad response for me, you\'re not sticking it to the man. You\'re sticking it to someone who could be your neighbor.
Most of my items go out with free shipping. However, if a buyer chooses to return an item, the buyer pays for return shipping. This is standard operating procedure across and I follow it as well.
