Dennerle In Vitro Live Plant Helanthium Tenellum Echinodorus Aquarium Cup

The grass-like Helanthium tenellum, better known as Echinodorus tenellus, is one of the prettiest foreground plants thanks to its delicate, grassy leaves. Leaf color varies from medium green to olive green; with very good lighting the leaves turn a brownish-red. Prefers soft to medium hard water. To encourage a lawn to form, cut the entire cluster back to 1 cm. After just a few weeks your "lawn" will be denser and more attractive. Mix with Eleocharis to produce a natural meadow effect.

In Vitro plants are submersed in 100% humidity. Many aquarium plantlets in the market are emersed, which means the leaves are grown above the water. These plants die back after they are planted inside an aquarium, and they regrow with the new leaves looking different than they did when they were purchased. With In Vitro submersed plants, you get constant, uninterrupted growth. Just clean it, cut it, and plant it!
