ABOUT THIS POTTERY:I purchased all of my Bringle Pottery pieces listed directlyfromCynthia Bringlein her pottery studio at the Penland School of Crafts in Penland,North Carolina. I\'veknown Cynthia 20 years and have amassed the largest collectionof her \"Mini\" potswhich I eventually hope to donate to a museum in the future. I amletting go of all of my remaining pieces. They will belisted on over the next fewweeks. The \"Salt Glaze Vases\" are prepacked and ready to ship.
The vaseappears new as the day I purchased it. The small white speck you may seeon the photos are light reflections or clear-glass like spots of the salt glaze, not defectsor chips.The vaseshave been packed and sittingin thewarehouse for thepast 6 years.This pieces are a greataddition to any Cynthia Bringlecollection.
Cynthia\'s Bio fromCraft In America:\"Cynthia Bringle (b. 1939, Memphis, Tennessee) is a ceramic artist, who lives and worksin Penland, North Carolina. Although she is most well known for her ceramics, she is alsoa painter and printmaker. She earned a BFA from Memphis Academy of Art and aMFAfrom Alfred University. She runs a gallery in Penland with her twin sister, whereshe sellsher pottery. She has taught many workshops nationwide and at Penland Schoolof Craftsfor many years. She is a fellow of the American Craft Council and a recipientof the NorthCarolina Award for Fine Art. Her work is in the collection of the MintMuseum of Craft andDesign, Burlington Art Centre, and the High Museum of Art.\"
