"New old stock" galena crystal in unopened container for crystal radio set cat's whisker or Perikon type detectors. "Silverex Silver Toned Radio Crystal" by the Sylvex Company of London, dating to the early 1920s. "Synthetic manufactured crystal." The container has the original seal with the Silverex stamp proving (for the period customer) thatithad not been opened and contained the manufaturer's original crystal. Since it is unopened, I cannot describe the contents, thereforeit is sold as a "collector's display item". Very rare to find these still sealed as they were manufacturedover 90 years ago!
