CRYSTAL AM RADIOWORKING FAUX CATALIN JAPAN CIRCA 1960

This is a workingCrystal Radio from the Japanese Golden Age of the early 1960’s production andexport of these AM Sets. The plastic case is a Faux Catalin design and is quitecolorful. The case has NO chips or cracks. While the radio works on the AM band(550-1600 kc) its performance in tuning station over laps, which is common tothis kind of radio. However, the better the Antenna, the better its performancebecomes.

Its COLLECTING VALUE tome is its Beautiful “Faux Catalin Swirl Case”. This is the only one of thisstyle case I have come across in all of my radio collecting endeavors.
