Crank Victor Victrola 4-3 Consolette Phonograph Motor Plate Tonearm Platter Part:
$102.50

You will receive the motor with the motor board (brake and speed adjustment included on it), hand crank, turntable platter, reproducer, model tag plate with holding pins, needle cup holder, tonearm, and tonearm bracket. The pot metal bracket is in good shape except for one small crack where the pin screw is, which should easily be reparable with some JB weld or other adhesive. The bracket is stuck to the metal plate it is screwed onto, so if one wants to replace it with a new steel bracket it will need to be chipped off. The pin stays in the tonearm as it is though despite the crack when in stalled in the cabinet, so personally I\'d use it. The tonearm itself is still shiny, but exhibits some spotting with age that may easily be worn off if desired. All corresponding screws will be included so they can be installed, minus one that was missing from the motor board. The original grill will be sold in a separate sale. Additionally, if you do not want the motor board it is attached to, I can remove the motor from the board and ship it that way. I may be able to reduce the shipping cost in that circumstance.

This machine has been tested and it needs a new reproducer. The reproducer is gold toned, but much of that finish has worn off. The crank winds up fully, and the turntable turns at the right speed. The motor doesn\'t thump or bang anytime during play and quiets down quickly after its initial startup. One may want to clean and regrease it, but as it is now it is working. The reproducer needs some work though; it has a crack in the brass colored pot metal housing as well as cracks along the back of the casing. The needle bar and spider are attached together, but the spider is not attached to the reproducer but is instead loose. The needle bar is loose and needs the screw that is above the thumbscrew to hold it in place properly. I am not sure if the cracks in the pot metal are reparable or not, but the other parts should be salvageable from it if not. I got it to play decently in the video below, but usually it doesn\'t work right. I don\'t remember the spider being unattached when I made the video. The brake on the machine works fine.

The turntable spins at the correct speed, and there is a speed adjustment on the top if you need to change the speed in the future.

Here is it playing before the reproducer stopped working decently:
