This sale are forone (1) New Old Stock (NOS) Paper in Oil (PIO) Bumblebee K40Y-9 .022uf 400v 10% Mil-Spec capacitor with installation instructions for Les Paul guitars. The capacitor shipswith vintage yellow clothsleeves installed. Please note that the pots in the pictures are NOT included in this sale and used for demo purposes only.
Some people will tell you that the type / material of the caps you use in a guitar tone circuit doesn\'t matter. I strongly disagree. Unlike ceramic, polyester, polystyrene, metalized, aluminum capacitors - These paper in oil capacitors produce the creamy smooth tone sought out by players around the world. You will hear a nicer, rounder sound as the tone controls are in use. My Shredding Metal customers are shocked to hear gut kicking power chords and howling leads coming from caps famous for \"vintage tone\"?! Good tone is good tone - Period! Your crunch will be crunchier, your metal heavier and your blues will make them cry.
