Breyer Adios Appaloosa TEST/BF 1995 from Collection of Black Horse Ranch For Sale -

This Breyer Adios Appaloosa TEST is from the Collection of the late Karen Grimm of Black Horse Ranch in Nevada. Karen asked me to assist her widow to re-home her model horses to fund her real Appaloosa horses at their forever home on the Ranch. Those Appaloosa’s include National and World Champions as well as brood mares and retired stallions. This Breyer Adios was featured in the 1995 BreyerFest sale as Lot #23…Grey Appaloosa Adios. As you can tell by the pictures his Appaloosa color would be a roan varnish with black spots. His left ear is bent back slightly which can be straightened by a craftsmen who is familiar with this procedure. His left face cheek has a cluster of three spots giving an appearance of a splatter, enlarge the picture and you can see the three spots. There is one tiny red dot/spot on top of his left shoulder…I looked completely over all the spots and this is the only wee red one! There is a small spot in the middle of his left hind hoof. The overall condition of this Adios is great, lovely coloring with a slight fleshy-pink nose just on the upper lip! I sure wish Breyer had done this color on some models.
