Description A beautiful antiqueVictorian solid sterling silver tea caddy box by the silversmiths Atkin Brothers and with full English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1894. Excellent quality caddy in Lovely condition, handsome oval Georgian shape decorated with fine engraved flowers and scrolls, and with its original tight fitting pull-off silver lid. Small engraved monogram in one cartouche of the original owner, one cartouche is unused.

Measurements Good size, measures approx 2.95 inches (73mm) x 2.05 inches (52mm) and stands 3.25 inches (83mm) in height. Date Full set of English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1894(date letter "b") with further clear matching hallmarks on the lid too. Maker Atkin Brothers (H.A). Condition Lovely condition, no splits or cracks, no solder repairs, definitely no holes and no nasty knocks or dents either,some little surfacedents/bruisesbut nothing at all bad, and most would push out fine. The silver lid is definitely original and the perfect tight fit. Nice clean interior too. Superb 118 year old Victorian solid silver tea caddy. Please note any strange lines or marks on this caddy are just reflections and not damage.
