Atq Australia/Britain Enfield Bayonet 1907 HOOKED QUILLON
In in excellent condition with no damage. The mechanism that would attach this to a rifle works smoothly and flawlessly.
Is stamped with the blade makers name as shown (Sanderson). Also stamped with an out of service \"X\" from the British.
As shown one grip is marked \"SLAZ 45\" with \"AUSTRALIA\" stamped over it. The other is marked \"SLAZ 46\" Both grips are tight with no damage.
The scabbard is in very good condition showing only very minor rubs and a few minor indentations to leather. Does have some cosmoline in the sheath which is typical for antique military weapons.
The finish on the blade is almost all there, showing very very minor wear.
Measures 22 inches overall.
Has been seen by a specialist, and is original.
