This is the famous resin, Deputed Duke. A large 1:9 scale Thoroughbred stallion sculpted by Morgen Kilbourn. Limited Edition of 120 made in 2004. Very hard to find one of these resins. He is doing ahalf pass and there are small pegs to make him look like he is floating. I did change the mane. He had small hunter type braids, but I removed them and made rosette type braids one sees in the dressage ring. It takes a number of layers of thin oil paint to get the \"live\" flesh effect. Painted a bright red chestnut with an appaloosa pattern based on an Appaloosa Sport Horse. Multi-colored eyes(looks like they are about to blink!), protective gloss added to the eyes,layers of colorin the mane & tail, single hair details in the pattern, striped hooves(yes, even on the dark ones), hand made braids and so on. This model is EXTREMELY detailed with the shading variations and can only be appreciated close up and in person. The camera can\'t accurately show this. So often people tell me how much more they like my work when they see it in person. Ready for the show ring or enjoy him in your collection.

Documentation on the horse/pattern will be included with him. He is a big resin and will need a big box to get him to you.
