Antique thoroughbred full size horse sculpture For Sale -

This is a full size thoroughbred Antique(100 plus year old) horse, which I was told was from Central Mexico, prior to 1900. This is constructed of a heavy wooden frame, covered with a thin fiber-type netting board shaped to frame and covered with goatskin, with several coats of the old orange shellac. The patina is exquisite!!! It is being sold in place (in my gallery) and is in perfect condition! It has glass eyes that look REAL! The removable ears are cast iron. It has a removable mouth for bit placement. It has a long real horsehair tail! (I can visualize this in a huge timber home as the focal point of the entire home! This is unbelievably beautiful! It weighs a LOT! This must be moved by the buyer from my gallery by professionals,as it must go out through a double seven foot high door. It is, however, sturdy. Mounted on original wood platform. This is very heavy.. It is seven feet tall to the top of the ears. It is seven foot ten inches from the tail to the front of the head. I wish the photos did justice to the beauty of the patina. It really is impressive and extraordinary!
