Fabulous rare WW1 trench art gun lighter . Made from brass and either copper orbronze. With engraving \" Souvenir de la Guerre \" on one side and \" Lt Florentin \" on the other .

The trigger does move and releases the top part of the gun to lift up . The trigger originally had a spring so it would spring back in place and the body had a spring so it would automatically open . These springs have long sincedeterioratedand rusted away . They can bereplacedif you wanted to restore it . Also there is some solder that has given way at the back end and also an easy job to resolder . For me i prefer to leave as it is . Not an item you are likely to find again in a hurry . Extremelycollectible.
