Vintage morticians salesman sample coffin up for sale. I believe it to be a display. Craftsmanship is great, very heavy solid piece. I'm guessing either walnut or maple. Top has long brass hinges. Inside is like a box, could be used as a humidor. There is no signature or makers mark. The varnish has crackled, has to be old, guessing 40s-50s. The top has couple of damaged spots. Indents on one side, and some rubs on some corners. Great piece for Halloween crazies! Measures 12" L x 4 1/2" W x 4" T. Please e-mail for more pictures or questions.
