Exceedingly rare antique Victorian Jubilee Perry & Co. Limited Steel Pen Makers advertising match safe/vesta commemorating the 1887 Jubilee year (50th anniversary) of the reign of Queen Victoria over the British Empire. Made of nickel plated brass with a very elaborate raised design depicting a Queen Victoria Jubilee coin in center front. Legend on one side reads: "JUBILEE BOX // 1837 - 1887" . Coin reads: "H.M.G.M QUEEN VICTORIA". Other side reads: "PERRY & CO. LIMITED // TRADE MARK // STEEL PEN MAKERS" around the Perry's trade mark logo showing a standing mermaid into a big shell. Made in England by Perry & Co. Limited, 1887. Dimensions:
