Here is a early 1860-70s Mexican , very heavy, scorpion tip fighting knife with a turned wood handle.Mexicans were notoriously deadly knife fighters. They liked this style of "scorpion tip" blade . It was handy for getting a knife thrust up under the ribs and into the lungs.Two piece bone handle is tight. Has a 3/16" thick 10" blade .. about 14 1/2" overall. .
