Antique Cast Iron French Bulldog Boston Terrier Puppy DogThe ’IMP’ Hubley Doorstop
Designed by Grace Raynor (initials incised on back) in 1921 for Hubley,this is a very desirable Antique Cast Iron DoorstopKnown as the BOSTON TERRIER LITTLE BOY BLUE ’IMP’ PUPPY DOG To have the bone attached and mechanicalmovementfunctioning is beyond rare! The bone is not totally screwed down,but allowed to have movement and play.What I believe to be authentic foundry original paintwith perhaps possibly exception of the red,this doorstop is in just awesome used condition consideringit is about 95 years old.It is a little over 2 pounds and 5 1/4\" high.It is pictured in several Cast Iron Collector’s Guides.This is from the HUBLEY USA Foundry.I just love this little guy and I believe you would love her too!!!PLEASE REVIEW ALL OF THE PHOTOS AS I CONSIDER THEMPART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
All my items have been stored in a Smoke Free/Pet Free home. (I do have an adorable Russian Tortoise but he\'s my baby!)
