DESCRIPTION: There are different patent dates on several of the different pieces of this classic, antique candlestick telephone. The back of the nickel plated receiver is marked “Property of the American Bell Telephone Company, Patented July 9-89 to November 1-92.” There is a very tiny fleck to the edge of the Bakelite mouthpiece. Everything else, including the inside, is perfect. Around the base it reads “Western Electric Company” with patents up to January 26, 1915. The brown Bakelite Earpiece is perfect, including the insides and metal diaphragm. That is the original wiring you see in the photographs and I guarantee that every part of this phone is in all original condition.
