This pair of handcrafted acrylic PLASTIC earrings features African Grey Parrot Fish Hook Earrings. All earrings are available in dangle ball stud, fish hook, leverback or dangle clip on style at no additional charge. Very lightweight but durable for years of enjoyment. If you can't find the animal or specific breed you are looking for, just contact me and I will be happy to add it to my inventory.
Each colorful handcrafted charm is digitally colorized, hand cut from lightweight ACRYLIC PLASTIC (Shrinky Dinks) (shrink plastic) with the finished charms being about as thick as a nickel, then the pieces are individually hand assembled.
The clear acrylic PLASTIC allows the image to show through to the back side of each piece resulting in a nicer finished piece. The images are printed in full color ink directly onto the plastic (the images are NOT printed on paper and glued onto plastic). The images are NOT 3 dimensional. Each charm is treated with a matt acrylic coating to protect the inked images from light moisture damage. Direct and/or prolonged exposure to water or alcohol based liquids (re: perfume, hairspray) may cause the colors to run.
The finished charms are so lightweight you won't even know you are wearing them but are durable enough to last throughout the years.
PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE NOT FINE JEWELRY! All of my jewelry creations are considered costume or novelty jewelry. I only use metals that are silver in color and made of surgical steel. I sell to many buyers who have sensitivities to certain metals and never hear of any problems from them. I do NOT use sterling silver or 10k-14k gold metals.
IMPORTANT! CHARM SIZE: I make all of my own charms. I design many of my pieces in a size suitable for adults which are usually too large for young children or preteens. When purchasing for a child or preteen, please let me know and I will be sure to send a more appropriate smaller size.
STYLE OPTIONS: If purchasing earrings, the style shown in photo will ship unless buyer requests dangle ball posts, leverbacks or dangle clip-on style when making payment. There is no additional charge for style preference.

This is where I create my jewelry pieces. I began making animal jewelry back in 1990. I spent many weekends exhibiting and selling my jewelry at art festivals and other special events as well as through select retail establishments. Now that I have my own web site, I rarely sell directly to the public anymore. Selling my jewelry online is a fulfilling experience and it has allowed me the opportunity to share my creations with animal and pet lovers from all around the world.
