ARMED FEDERAL SOLDIER AMBROTYPE MISSING FINGERS For Sale - New and Used

Ninth plate ambrotype of a Federal infantryman dressed in an overcoat and cape. He is holding his musket in front of him. I first thought that he just had his fingers wrapped around the musket but after taking a closer look you can see that a couple of the fingers are very badly mangled. Possibly by an earlier accident or lost in battle but they are definately in some ruff shape. Housed in a half leatherette case.
