ANTIQUE HOWES BOSTON TERRIER FRENCH BULLDOG ANDIRONS FIREDOGS GLOWING EYES For Sale -

This is an amazing RARE set of andirons in the shape of Boston Terriers. I had these checked out by an antique roadshow that was nearby. They assured me that these were authentic & from the turn of the century. I love how when they are backlit the eyes glow a bright green. They appear to possibly be marbles....they are the shape & style of marbles. This stately gentlemen measure 17" tall & 7" wide. The brackets I don't believe to be original to these, however these work fine. New bolts but they aren't seen. They have great patina to them, a little bit of the original paint but mostly raw. I have only cleaned these with a dry nylon brush, I'm not an expert on seasoning cast iron so I didn't try.
