Product Description:Daphnia Magna are commonly known as water fleas, and can reach up to 5.5 mm in size. They eat algae (green water), bacteria and yeast. They are excellent live food source for most fish and other aquatic organisms. Daphnia are effective in bringing many fish in spawning condition, and enhancing fish's colors.Daphnia cultures were kept outdoor therefore may contain mosquito larvae, bloodworm, seed shrimp, cope pod, or anything associated with nature.

Shipping Method:USPS First Class Package. USPS shippingis not guaranteedto arrive on the Estimated Delivery receipt, you should acclimate the daphnia for about 20 minute before releasing into the tank (bucket) with old aquarium water or pond water.It is best to maintain several separate cultures to backup each other in case of crash.
NOTE: Do not be alarmed while inspecting the culture if you notice debris that looks like dead Daphnia on the bottom of the bag. These are most likely exoskeletons shed by the organisms as they grow and molt. Live Daphnia will be swimming slightly above the bottom of the bag where they settle if they experience shipping shock. They may also appear bright red in color due to shipping shock and low Oxygen. Give your Daphnia 12 to 24 hours to recover and resume normal movement.
