Live Ramshorn Snails. Great food source or tank cleaner. Make great puffer food! These snails help with controlling algae and decaying matters in my aquarium. Some people buy ramshorn snail for feeder for pufferfishes, loaches, cichlids, and turtles. However, keep them away from assassin snails. They will also eat up dead fish so you won\'t ever have to look for dead fish.They breed quickly and will eat leftover foods, decaying plants and leaves, and even algae! They stay small so the focus stays on your fish, and not the clean-up crew.
PLEASE NOTE: You may be receiving adult snails, baby snails, or anything in between. They will be large enough for you to count with normal vision without dragging out the magnifying glass. But they may not all be adults.
SHIPPING IS INCLUDED! Snails can tolerate extremely cold weather, and even freezing temperatures. I have had snails arrive that were frozen in ice. But the receiver put them in water anyway and they were alive and normal the next morning. So if your snails arrive looking dead, put them in the tank anyway, and give them about 12-24 hours and they should perk right up!Snails are expected to curl into their shells during transport. No worries, they are not dead. Simply put them in into aquarium water that has not been treated with copper fish medication and they will come out. Snails prefer no salt but can tolerate little salt. PH should be about 8 and please give snails cuttlebone for them to grow strong shells.
