" Parisian Lady in an Interior "

A very fine french 19th century oil on panel of a Parisian lady in an interior with fine rugs, ornaments and furniture. The womans attire and surroundings suggest welath which in turn suggets the hand of a fine artist of the day as the work is likely a commission piece. The painting was sold by Spink & Son in the 1960's and has old Christies stencils to the reverse - sadly its unsigned so we dont know the painter.
