This Kodiak Hunter is in very good condition. The bow has no holes, gouges, cracks. The limbs have no twist. The bow had a significant amount of adhesive residue from a stick-on arrow holder and green paint overspray from a prior owner, all of which has been gently removed leaving an original finish in very good condition over highly figured shedua. The original BearHair shelf and tombstone leather plate had green paint speckles so I removed them . At buyer\'s request, I will install a Cordovan leather side plate and heavy duty velcro shelf rest at no charge, but I have left those off in case buyer prefers a stick-on rest like the Bear WeatherRest. I am not including a string as there are too many personal preferences about strings for vintage bows. I have been shooting it with a BCY-X low stretch string and it\'s really fast. There is a worn shallow groove in the belly of the sight window from a prior owner using too heavily-spined arrows, and the Grayling Green limbs have a few longitudinal stress lines and hazing at the fades typical of this vintage bow. This is an outstanding hunting bow, an excellent weight for any North American game and an excellent 58\" length. Some say the 58\" Kodiak Hunter, Owen Jeffery\'s original design made only in 1967, is a bit faster than the 60\" models made in later years.
