1964 1965 Ford Mustang Toploader HEH-P 4 Speed Transmission Wide Ratio Great For Sale -

Toploader HEH-P wide ratio 4 speed transmission for Early Mustang with Serial Number 010649 10/28 splineThis transmission is very good condition to excellent condition. I purchased it in 1995 and had it rebuilt at a local transmission shop. They quickly identified it as having a weak link 25 spline output shaft. So after a new input, 28 spline output,  1st and second gear, cluster, sychros, bearing and other extras equaling $$$,  I got it back and installed it in my 1966 coupe. I had it in the car coupled to the original 289 4V for two summers of local driving probably totaling 1500 miles of use during 1996 and 1997. At that point I caught a need for speed and swapped the 289 for 351W and coupled that to brand new T5z from Ford Racing which is still in the car to this day. This transmission has been quietly sitting in the T5 box since. Knowing that the seals were certainly bad and not knowing current internal condition I completely disassembled, cleaned and reinstalled every component except for the reverse cluster prior to listing. See pictures of the complete exploded assembly and some in process pictures. I have more  pictures of the assembly and testing video if needed. You will not be disappointed.  It will come shipped in the same T5Z box it has rested in for the last 20 years.
