1941 International Harvester Plant Large & Long Photo Of Annual Congress Event For Sale -

Up for your consideration is one of the coolest International Harvester items I have ever been able to find and offer. This is a amazing large and long black and white photo of the front of the factory in Chicago, Illinois when they held their annual International Boys & Girls Club Congress event. This measures 36\" long and just under 8\" high, it was taken by Kaufmann & Fabry with their logo in print in the bottom left corner of the photo. The event took place on 12/3/1941 and it shows the visitors who came to the plant from the Boys & Girls Club`s and 4-H Club`s and their marching bands and it also shows two International Harvester trucks, a Farmall A tractor, a crawler tractor and a Farmall H tractor. You can also see the plant employees looking out the windows. The photo itself is fantastic but what really makes this special is that it includes the original mailing tube to a young girl who attended the event! The tube holds the rolled photo, it has her name typed on a International Harvester mailing label and it still has the 4 cent stamp on the tube. There is no way for the scans to really show how nice this is, I did my best in the scans by showing the entire photo and then breaking it up in 3 scans so you can see it closer. Once you have this in hand you will see how great this is. There is a crease on each end but overall it`s still in great shape and if you framed this and put it on the wall it would be the center of attention for any International Harvester collection. I have never seen one of these on when I have checked so I am very happy to be able to offer it and I am in hopes that it will go to a I.H. collector which is where this belongs.
