1904 Model Springfield Armory Hospital Corp Bolo Knife For Sale - New and Used

Old Houston Texas estate find. Original Model 1904 Springfield Armory U.S. Hospital Corps Bolo Machete with original sheath. It measures 17.5 inches long. The knife is in good overall condition but does have wear on it as shown. The blade has wear as shown also. The leather sheath has a couple of pieces on the front that appear to be leather patches and I believe were glued onto the main body. The brass cross guard has an ever so slight ammount of looseness but not very much. The blade has the U.S. flaming ball insignia and the date 1911 stamped on one side. The wooden handle has "3 A.C.N.Y. 37" stamped onto part of it and the leather sheath has "43" stamped on one side and "R.I.A. 1912 T.C.C." stamped on the lower part of the same side. I believe the "R.I.A." signifies Rock Island Arsenal. I am selling this piece at so offer early and often and good luck! Please ask Questions if you have any!
