Description: Entered according to the act of congress, in the year 1865, by J. H. Bufford, this 19th century colored engraving of Abraham Lincoln is after a photograph by Mathew B. Brady. Measuring 29“ by 21 1/4“ this 19thC engraving comes under early glass in its original 31 1/4“ by 23 1/4“ frame and even still retains its original wood backboards. You can see in the photographs that there is a water stain at the bottom and some toning to the paper caused by the backboards. There also is a small tear to the upper right-hand corner. The two small spots on the glass, one of which lines up with the President’s forehead, is on the glass and is not on the print. … You will find that this original 1865 Bufford Polychrome Lithograph of Abraham Lincoln has been listed without any reserve!
