10 +Critically Endangered/Exotic Hatching Eggs: Ayam Cemani, Pavlovskaya, Orusts:
$56.00

Rare chance to get three critically endangered chickens in one sale. Swedish orusts, ayam cemani, and Russian pavlovskayas.
Orusts: A landrace medium to small black & white chicken (developed naturally), they hail from Orust island off of Western Sweden. They are friendly and tenacious freerangers. They learned to swim and fish and eat kelp and have some unique features including webbed feet for navigating the seas. The roosters yellow ear lobes also turn vivid purple when upset, perhaps to alert the hens on danger over the crash of the surf. In 2013, there were only a few hundred left. Another cool feature--they have black and white checkerboard scales on their legs. We breed them to make sure they stick around.Pavlovskayas: Amazingly gorgeous, these critically endangered chickens numbered only two in Russia in 1984 and both were roosters. Still so rare that most chicken people don\'t know they exist. They have beards, puffy cheeks, feathered legs, sometimes five toes, and crazy insane hats. The chicks are multi colored like a bomb pop. Friendly, silly, and sweet, they are amazing birds in the flock. We mainly breed them to help the species.
Ayam Cemani: The black on black chicken with black bones and black everything. Hailed from Indonesia and are considered the lamborghini of the chicken world. Mine are sweet and friendly and enjoy being held. They often hatch with a white toe, toenail or feather but it often turns black with age. They go through this shockingly ugly phase as they grow up where they fade to brown and lose their neck feathers and it\'s rather horrifying but it\'s an ugly duckling thing and they feather out black and beautiful.Hatching eggs from my beautiful young hens with an excellent hatch rate. My birds are pampered. They eat cabbages for snacks and Countryside Organics food with lactobaccilus and field peas and organic grains. They live in a large beautiful run and free range (with supervision) in the evenings so they can flit about and eat grass and bugs!
We can not guarantee your hatch rate due to variables beyond our control. I recommend the Brincea incubators for the best results and I get a 90% plus hatch rate here at the farm.We collect our eggs several times a day and they are turned twice a day. We pack our eggs very carefully still the post office can be a cruel institution. Therefore I insure my eggs. If the post office breaks any of them please contact me and I will send you the insurance information to collect.

But know the risk in buying Hatching eggs online! I can not guarantee your hatch rate for circumstancesout of my control . I do not knowyour incubation practices or how the post office handles them after they leavemy hands! IDO NOTreplace eggs that do not hatch! I take great care packing the eggs very well with lots of bubble wrap and insulated cotton padding. But in theextremely rarecase that a egg should arrive broken, the eggs are insured and I will file for the insurance with proof of photos. response is to be left when your eggs arriveand not upon hatch rate for I have no control overthe incubation process or the treatment at the hands of the P.O. Locally, we are getting 90% plus hatch rates, so we know the eggs are fertile and viable. response should only be based on the condition of the eggs when they arrive.

I will send some extras if I have them. We will only ship to the lower 48 states. Local pickup is available.
There will be no extras with pickup. No returns or refunds. Thank you and enjoy these gorgeous birds!
