~GENUINE VINTAGE DATED AND NAMED VIETNAM ERA US MARINE CORPS USMC OFFICER\'S MESS DRESS EVENING JACKET / COAT / UNIFORM- 38\" CHEST (SEE ALL MEASUREMENTS BELOW) - MADE IN THE USA IN QUANTICO, VA IN 1963!

This is a Genuine Vintage US Military Issue USMC Officer\'s Mess Dress Evening Jacket dated 1963 and named Major L.W. Fisher.

It is pre-owned, in great condition, with some wear, and slightly wrinkled from storage, no stains or major tears.

There is an area on the inside of the collar where the stitching is coming unstitched and has a small black piece of fabric at the neck area that appears to be used to protect neck while closed (please refer to pictures).

This jacket has silver-toned \"Major\" bullion rank on the shoulders with a silver-toned USMC button on each shoulder, has gold bullion on the sleeves, 3 gold-toned buttons on each sleeve and is dated 1963. All of the Buttons on the jacket appear to be original USMC buttons. There is red piping on the jacket and the inside has bright red lining.

The jacket features: Inside chest pocket on the left side of the jacket which has the manufacturer\'s label outside and Owner\'s information inside. It also has 13 gold-toned buttons on the front and a metal hook closure at the neck. This jacket is meant to be worn open, not buttoned up.

Inside label reads: \"EXCHANGE UNIFORM SHOP M.C.S. QUANTICO, VIRGINIA S. ABRAHAMS & CO., INC. PHILA 23, PA SACO UNIFORMS\"

What can be read on the inside coat pocket label reads: \"WFL 420 DATE 4/9/63 ... 49 99 573 W. 34 1/2 IN. 32 NAME MAJOR L.W. FISHER HEIGHT 6\' WEIGHT 180 ACT. COLLAR 15 1/2\"

Approximate measurements are: Shoulder Seam to Cuff- 26 inches; Underarm to Underarm- 19 inches; Collar to Bottom of Coat- 20 1/2 inches; Neck- 15 1/2 inches.
