I've had a number of these classic little speakers and am always amazed by their sound.These original Japanese built speakers have been restored with new gray hammer texture paint and enhanced with additional sound damping inside.A new Solen capacitor replaced the small tired original capacitor, and gold-plated 5-way binding posts were installed for better connections.
The tweeter domes were pushed in--a common problem with old tweeters, but have been rebuilt to restore the domes.The surfaces still show some dimpling, but the sound from them is crisp and clear.
The woofers have been colored black to cover some stains and enhanced with a clear coating to stiffen the woofers for better bass response.
All in all, these are a nice rebuild of classic speakers.With the additional sound damping and binding posts, they now weigh almost five pounds each.
These can be shipped either in a USPS large flat rate priority box or FedEx ground,depending on distance from 95404 zip code. (FedEx is less expensive for longer distances.)
