Up for sale is a Scarce, Original Illustrated Provence/ Lambesc Earthquake Memorial Program by noted French artist Henri Rudaux(1870-1927). The program of performancesat the Comédie-Française in Paris on June29 was a memorial for the June 11, 1909 Provence earthquake that measured 6 onthe Richter Scale where 46 people died and 250 were injured. The program included works by Victor Hugo, GustaveNadaud, Alfred de Musset and others.Printed on stock paper. Excellentcondition with minor tanning and wear – overall nice condition. Also included is a salmon-colored ribbonwhich may have a connection with the memorial.Program is a single sheet, folded once.Measures h-10 7/8 x w-8 ¼ inches (folded); h-10 7/8 x w-17 inches(unfolded).
