Description
Up for sale is a Very Fine and Large 18thc Chinese Famille Rose Imperial Figural Scenic Bronze Mounted Porcelain Punch Bowl. The Bowl is one of the Finest and Most Impressive examples I have seen, and I do not think many examples like this come up for sale very often these days. The Bowl is Ornately Hand Painted inside and out with interesting Imperial Figural Scenic designs, along with Large Imperial Court Scenes around the exterior. The Bowl is also finely painted around the inner and outer top rims with Butterflies, Birds, Floral, and Foliage designs. The Punch Bowl is mounted is a very fine Antique Gold Gilt Solid Bronze Frame, which was most likely added to the Bowl some time in the mid to later 19thc, most likely in France. The Bowl shows some light wear throughout, but is overall in very fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Bronze frame also shows no damages, or losses throughout. The Bronze Mounted Punch Bowl is a Very Impressive display piece measuring 13 ¾ inches long across the side handles, by 10 ¼ inches wide, and stands 9 inches tall.
