With the ClimateRight® CR-2500ACH, you can rest assured that your pet can be outdoors all day. With 2,500 heating BTUs and 2,700 cooling BTUs, this unit is perfect for gentle temperature acclimation.
The ClimateRight® CR-2500ACH is perfect for most pet houses, from standard, small houses all the way to extra large and duplex houses up to 400 cubic feet. Although we do not suggest a permanently mounted install without the help of a professional, traditional set-up and operation is easy. As you can see from our installation video, nearly anyone can have a climate-controlled doghouse in less than an hour.

How does the ClimateRight® CR-2500ACH work?

This is a portable, electric air conditioner and heater that runs on 110v electric, or “house current.” The unit sits outside of the enclosure and is ducted into the space with an intake and an exhaust hose. Both of these hoses are equipped with quick-connect fasteners. Please note that two small holes are required to complete installation.

Does my pet need this?

Although the primary benefit to the CR-2500ACH is safety, we feel that your pet’s overall comfort level is important, too. Extreme heat can cause both heat exhaustion and heat stress. Similarly, very cold temperatures increase the risk for frostbite and other health issues.

Is the CR-2500ACH easy to install?

Yes. Hookup requires drilling two small holes into the pet structure and assembling of two “quick connect” flanges and attaching duct work. For further details, reference these assembly instructions .

Is this safe for my pet?

Absolutely. This unit has been specifically designed to operate outside of the pet’s enclosure and away from your pet. There are no exposed heating elements or harmful emissions. Finally, at a noise level of only 55 dB, this unit is as quiet as a refrigerator or other similarly sized air conditioning units.
