This wonderful French clock is coming out of the estate of a collector and has never been offered for sale before. Please check out my other listing with another incredible clock. This French clock was originally in a pine case as a grandfather clock but because of its age it is common that the pine case deteriorates on these clocks. We estimate it is between 1780 and 1810. It is a repeater and in working condition. The ornamental decoration around the face is stamped brass. There is cracking to the porcelain dial but it is still holding together fine. Really a beauty.
