These are the only crayfish species known to self clone. They are ALL FEMALE and do not need a male to mate. Please note: They will and do turn all shades of blue and can change to tan and gray. Diets and water temps might play a part in coloring. Crayfish NEED oxygen. A bubbler is perfect as they will drown if no access to air. Provide plenty of hiding spaces as they like to hide. My crays live with guppies, cory cats, dwarf shrimp and large apple snails BUT use caution as they will snag a slow moving or sick fish.I feed them fish food pellets, oats, broccoli, apples, algae wafers, earthworm sticks, kale, etc. Crays can have up to 1,000 babies at a time so they make great feeders for large fish or aquaponics. --------Shipping is Monday-Thursday with LAG only IF you take delivery within TWO HOURS.
