carlisle's Profile
I'm a mum of 4 and we recently extended our family with 2 rabbits.
Carlisle, he is a rex dalmation and he has the most adorable caracter.
He will dart around the garden jumping randomly into the air, truly a pleasure to watch while he's playing.
He is now 15 weeks old and we've had him for 7 weeks, he will come when called and loves to cuddle, he is even very patient with my children and is not startled by their loudness either.
In short he has fitted in amazingly to our family.
Serena, she is a mini lop, mottled grey and white in colour.
We have had her now for 2 weeks and she is 10 weeks old now.
When we first got her she was incredibly nervous, and it was obvious that she had not been handled much, but with love and attention she is getting better.
She will now come and sit on my lap voluntarily, and is becoming more affectionate towards me.
Needless to say the children are not allowed to handle her yet as i want her to be confident enough to be able to cope in that situation.
She has to go in the run in the garden as she will not allow anyone near her when she has the whole garden to roam.
She is i suppose a work in progress but we seem to be getting through to her that she is safe with us.
Carlisle and Serena get on great, they love to snuggle up together, although all together time is suppervised to prevent any mating as carlisle is not getting neutered until he is 6 months.
They are apart of the family now and i wouldn't have it any other way.
