My name is Joseph. I am 26 years of age and from Illinois. I am a Zoology major at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. I have studied natural sciences as far back as I can remember, especially Zoology! I try to specialize my work in the area of herpetology where I have been working with the New World/Pit Viper subfamily and am recently interested in venom toxicity and its biological and biochemical evolution and the biological evolution of other cells (and organisms)in response to it. I am also a very dedicated wildlife conservationist and enviromentalist but I am not nearly as extreme as a lot of the eccentrics one might see out there! I got a perfect little pit bull puppy (Born Jan. 14th, 2012) named Caesar and he is the primary cause for my creating an account here. I have been an adept and avid reptile and amphibian collector all of my life. However, at this moment in time I have none. I plan on transferring to the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida before too long where I can rebuild a satisfactory and responsible collection again...and where Caesar and I can run the beaches and go swimming every morning!
